VLS Stud Livery

We have recently expanded the stud base with a further 20 acres, taking us to a total of 40 acres grazing, which has given us the opportunity to offer full grass livery for yongstock, resting & retired horses & ponies.

 All the paddocks have been sown with grasses & herbs suitable for horses & fenced with horse fencing and an upper strand of electric fence, the fields have automatic filling troughs, run off our own borehole. And most fields have shelters with good natural shelter.

 We are well located with in easy distance of Alton, Winchester, Basingstoke & Guildford and not far from the A303 while still being in a beautiful rural location just outside the Southdowns national park & on the edges of the Candover Valley.

 We are very lucky to be within the catchment area for many Equine Hospitals & practices, including Liphook Hospital, Donnington Grove, Stable Close, Equivet, Sound Equine, Kings Bounty to name but a few!

 Our full grass livery package includes checks, rug changes when necessary, attending farrier & vets appointments, a daily basic feed & hay.

  We can also offer short term holiday livery & stud livery while your mare is with us.

 Charges are £250 per month for full grass livery (this excludes, wormers, veterinary fees, farrier etc but includes all basic care and checks and a baisc feed and all hay.
 
  Mares coming for covering is £10 per day and we recommend they are with us at least 5 days before they are due in season, to settle.
